Chris Paul Asks for Trade To The Knicks - Fuck Yourself LeBron

Yahoo - Chris Paul’s agent informed New Orleans Hornets officials on Wednesday that his client will not sign a contract extension and wants to be traded to the New York Knicks, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. Agents, teams can begin talking Nov 29, 2011 As soon as the NBA lifts its lockout restrictions, Hornets general manager Dell Demps wants to meet with Paul and hear that directive from him. Nevertheless, the prospects of the Hornets executing a trade with the Knicks appear to be dim, if not impossible. The Knicks simply don’t have the trade assets that come close to meeting New Orleans’ criteria for a deal. Demps has been listening to overtures from teams around the league, and has been actively working under the assumption that Paul would reject a contract extension. The Hornets have no intention of letting Paul walk away at season’s end without trying to get maximum value for him. There are several teams, including the Boston Celtics, that could be willing to make a deal for Paul with the hope of convincing him to eventually sign an extension.

I love the shit these analysts vomit out of their mouths. They learn anything from the LeBron fiasco last summer? They all had these inside sources telling them this, and knowing exactly where they were going, and which team was going to get them - fuck that. What's the point of even bringing up the Celtics making a move for him in "hopes they convince him to eventually sign an extension", that's fucking pathetic. If the Knicks can't trade for him and another team wants to waste talent and draft picks to rent him for half of a half of a season then that would be fucking great. Let Boston be that stupid. This guy clearly wants to play for New York, why would you even attempt to get him on your team? So he can be miserable until he ends up where he wants? CP3 has so much leverage it's not even funny. Oh you want to trade me there? No thanks. I said the Knicks. So New Orleans either sits around and lets him walk for absolutely nothing, or they can take the exchange from the Knicks - Chris Paul for a bag of steaming hot shit, fair deal. I mean what's done is done, and he's been basically practicing with the Knicks since last season ended, he's already on the team let's be serious. I can't wait to see 'Melo, STAT and CP3 on the same floor together. It's not even fair at that point. Celtics did it with 3 dinosaurs, the Heat still figuring out how to do it with a past champion, a never will be champion, and an ostrich - the Knicks will have three superstars in their prime with one goal - bringing a Championship back to NYC! And steamrolling LeBrons vagina for the next 2 years, before he opts out again and goes to play in the Western Conference where it's easier.

  1. I love your enthusiasm about the Knicks... hysterical...

The particulars- The League owns the Hornets, there is 0 chance they trade him bc they just got done saying how they want small market teams to compete. their goal will be to keep him in NO (which won't work, but I see a sign-&-trade happening when he becomes a FA).

As for your Knicks- You could take CP3 right now, and still would only be the 3rd best team in your own conference.

    1. Heat- say what you want, but they made the Finals, (which takes 12 W's, Knicks W's = 0). They went to Game 6, and could of should of would of if not for the Lebron meltdown. And they did this all in a season which they faced more criticism and pressure than any team in the history of sports. They will improve, they are still the team to beat.

    2. Bulls- Rose is better than anyone on the Knicks (CP3 included). There is a reason he is reigning MVP, dude's a straight stud muffin, and getting better (scary). Plus they play defense. Hold on, you have no clue what that is bc NY doesn't play any... That's Defense- D-E-F-E-N-S-E. Goal being to defend the other team from scoring.

    3. C's--- If I look back- yeah looking now- 4-0 sweep of the Knicks. Including big time beat downs in Game 3/4, after you guys quit. Look in the mirror when you bring up The King, cause your entire team pulled a "Lebron". Yeah they might be older, but they can score and defend. And the Knicks just aren't clutch.

    4. Howard--- Where ever this man child ends up... Look out, that team will be better than the Knicks too.

    5. Knicks-- I'll post again for your team...

  2. 5. Knicks-- Look at how this team is put together- All offense, no defense, no bench. I love D'Antoni- his Sun's teams were perhaps my favorite teams of all time. But those teams were constructed around the pick & roll, spread the floor with shooters, and above all 7 Seconds or Less, IE fast pace tempo. More possessions with a high executing offense mitigated their defensive issues.

Compare that to the Knicks (with CP3). You can basically swap Nash/CP3 and call it a day.
Amare is now older, will his knees hold up? His 2nd half last season saw a major statistical drop. He can't defend the rim, never could, never will. He isn't suited to run up and down the floor anymore. Less possessions. Plus they have no one to back him up. The Suns had Diaw, Marion, Kurt Thomas, Tim Thomas (the one year he actually tried). So foul trouble, injuries, or off-nights didn't kill them. What do the Knicks have? Timof Mozgov?

Shooters-- Where are they? Landry Fields is not getting it done by himself. The Suns had tons of shooters- Nash, Barbosa, House, Joe Johnson, Marion, Diaw, Thomas, Banks, Hill, Jones. I don't trust Toney Douglas or Bill Walker to improve as outside threats...

And then there is the Elephant in the room... Melo-- I love him. I once said he was better basketball player than Lebron. (yikes). But he is like AI, he'll never win unless the team is completely structured around him, and even then he probably still wont win (See Denver). Guy has made it out of the first round once in his career. Hasn't won a big game since Syracuse. And is too selfish to change. Melo is best suited for a slow pace offense that values half-court possessions. He needs the ball in his hands, and once it gets there it rarely leaves. And he can't shoot the 3. That's not D'Antoni's offense. That's not even CP3's offense. And certainly not Amare's offense. It's Melo's and all about him. What in your mind makes you think that when CP3 and Amare run pick & roll and Melo is frozen in the corner, that he is going to be ok with that? He'll pout and whine, and worst- not try. It's his way. It's how he goes about his business.

And none of the big 3 in the big apple play defense. 80-90 point games are taylored for defensive teams like the Bulls, Heat, and Celtics. They can make a stop when the possessions slow down, the Knicks aren't built that way. And it games against teams when the scoring gets up there, the Knicks won't have the shooting prowess to keep up.

Will they be fun to watch- hell yes. Will Melo, Stat, and CP3 put up great numbers- hell yes. But they will never win, not in that system, not with that coach.
