In today’s “Bowden’s Bullets” column on ESPN.com, former Nationals’ GM Jim Bowden wrote the following:
Sergio Santos has off-the-charts makeup
I would like to know exactly what that means.
Is Santos the spawn of Mother Teresa and Tim Tebow? Seriously, what could “off-the-charts” makeup mean for a relief pitcher?
Game face : Bobby Knight as Off the Charts Makeup : Walter Yego
This dude was a converted infielder who couldn’t hit a lick but had a laser arm. Does the fact that he was willing to stay in baseball and make it as a pitcher put him off the charts?
I need stories, Bowden.
