Who Was Wearing Cam Newton's Body Yesterday?

422 yards?? The first player to ever throw for 400 yards in his NFL debut. Forget who it was against and all that, shit is flat out impressive. I was a very big Cam doubter, and still think he will suck over his career, but he's making me think at least. An absolute beast of a debut by this dude, making Steve Smith look like he's 26 in his prime. They might have lost but there's no happier fan base right now than Panthers fans. All of a sudden the 2-14 Panthers look a lot better than that. Week one folks, unpredictable. Cam Newton throws for 422 yards after completing just 40% of his throws in the preseason, and Rex Grossman looks like Tom Fucking Brady.
